Moroccan spiced mince filos

Moroccan spiced mince filos

I’m always looking for any excuse to use my spices in my cupboard, so I found this Moroccan spiced mince parcels from https://www.allrecipes.com with cinnamon, cumin, ras-el-hanout and paprika! Gorgeous! I served them with green beans, courgette and peas. It was very easy and quick to prepare and does not have a lot of ingredients. Next time I might add a few raisins to the beef mixture or pine nuts! Bon appetit.

Instructions
  1. My ingredients.
  2. In a pan, add a splash of olive oil and cook the mince beef for 6-7 minutes until cooked.
  3. Add tomatoes, cinnamon, cumin, paprika and ras-el-hanout. Season. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Lay the filo pastries and divide the meat between the 5 filos. Fold them delicately as shown on the photo.
  5. Add a bit of olive oil or butter on each parcel (so the filo doesn't dry out too much) and put in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the parcels are lightly browned.
